GENERAL INFORMATION

Children entering grades Kindergarten through 6th for the 2025/2026 school year, who live in Austintown or are open-enrolled in Austintown Local Schools, are eligible to play/cheer for AYF.


Football and cheer squads


  • Varsity (5th and 6th grades)
  • JV (3rd and 4th grades)
  • Bantam (K, 1st, and 2nd grades)


AYF is a member of the Eastern Ohio Youth Football League.

AYF is a 100% volunteer-run organization. We kindly ask that parents volunteer at home scrimmages and home games. 


More information will follow once the schedule is set.

Football practice begins after the 4th of July, Monday - Friday from 6PM to 8PM at the AYF practice field.


Cheer practice begins after the 4th of July, Monday - Friday from 6PM to 8PM at the AYF practice field. For those involved in competition cheer, practices will rotate between the practice field and the schools.

Games begin in August and end in October. All games are played on either Saturday or Sunday, depending on the location.


All home games are played at Austintown Fitch Greenwood Stadium.
